I have just recently finished the redesign for one of my clients websites. KEYVISION Associates’ main service is providing keyboard training and while not very much has changed with the content of the site, the redesign makes it look much better.
Most people who are looking to learn how to type start out searching for a topic such as “learning to type” or “how to learn how to type in six hours.” These are both two things that the Almena system covers. If you are still stuck using the “hunt and peck” method to type than you may as well be anticipating the Y2K virus; you’re way out of date!
There are many perks to being my own webmaster. Nerd street-cred aside, it is a very rewarding way to express myself through writing and entertain myself with countless troubleshooting issues.
Today I have kept myself busy with a few keyword and SEO tasks as part of the redevelopment of a great executive keyboard training course. Everybody I’ve met that can type truly fast without looking learned with this system.
After I finished that work, I was reviewing my site logs for this site (there are hardly ever any visitors) and one search term stuck out.
Under search terms that got them to my site I saw this:
June 7, 2010 15:31:51 i work for Morneau Sobeco sucks
Now this could have been searched by anybody. My hunch however, is that if I were an employee of that company by now I would have been fired for talking about how terrible the company is. That would suck.
Good thing I don’t work for them, and I can tell you how terrible they are.

Here is a song that I made with a virtual recreation of the fully analog and partially modular ARP-2600 synthesizer. It is still not completely finished however as this is a work in progress.
I’ve been really loving some of the new remixes that have been posted on remix sites. Recently I saw a music video made for a remix of a song, not the original. I thought to myself, this remix must be great, otherwise it woudn’t have been chosen, and I was right. You can read about The Rabbit Miike Snow Stuart Price Remix on coldplaysucks.com, but I promise you will fall in love with the song! It’s such an ear-worm!

“Answer this question honestly – do you read the small print when you buy games on the internet?
High Street retailing giant GameStation decided to put this to the test and inserted a new clause into their terms and conditions earlier this month that granted them legal rights to the immortal souls of thousands of their online customers. Here, in darkest legalese, is how they got away with such a heinous act:
“By placing an order via this Web site on the first day of the fourth month of the year 2010 Anno Domini, you agree to grant Us a non transferable option to claim, for now and for ever more, your immortal soul. Should We wish to exercise this option, you agree to surrender your immortal soul, and any claim you may have on it, within 5 (five) working days of receiving written notification from gamestation.co.uk or one of its duly authorised minions.”
GameStation’s fiendish clause specified that they might serve such notice in “six foot-high letters of fire” too, but also offered customers an option to opt out, rewarding them with a £5 money-off voucher if they did so.
Alas, hardly anyone noticed the clause, let alone the substantial bonus for spotting the gag. More to the point, the fact that it passed more or less unnoticed raises an important issue – too few people actually read the small print when they make online purchases.
According to GameStation, around 7,500 customers carelessly signed their souls away on the day. Were you one of them…?”
If you are looking to plan a kids birthday party in Ottawa, you should check out this magician. His kids magic show is perfectly suited for birthday parties and corporate family events. The best age for this show is 3-10 years old, but Alexander’s act always provides fun for all ages.
